All newborn sessions take place at our West Lakeview/Northcenter studio. My full service portrait studio is carefully designed for you and your baby’s comfort. It features a beautiful shooting space and a comfortable sitting area for you to relax and watch your session, take a nap, or enjoy Netflix & Hulu.
SHOOTING SPACE
The shooting area is equipped with top-of-the-line lighting equipment, and offers several background options perfect for parent/baby and family shots. The space is setup with your baby in mind and is kept warm and cozy for your little one’s comfort during their session.
PROPS
I have an extensive collection of custom props including wraps, headbands, and hand-knitted bonnets/hats in a wide range of color tones and textures, as well as buckets, baskets and beds that provide perfect creative options for your images.
I carefully plan and select props for your session based on your color preferences and personal style. My style is organic, clean and classic, while still creative and unique to you and your baby.
CLIENT AMENITIES
Your comfort during your newborn session is of the utmost importance to me. There is a couch for you to sit back and watch your favorite TV shows and movies, or just relax and enjoy watching your baby being photographed. I have extra diapers, wipes, and even pacifiers on hand to cover all of baby’s needs. There are even snacks, drinks and hot coffee/tea/cocoa waiting for you!
NEWBORN SAFETY
Rest assured that your newborn is in the best of hands during your session. Newborn safety is always my number one priority. My 10+ years of experience and my training in handling and posing newborns will give you the peace of mind that your baby is safe. I am insured, and certified in newborn safety and handling. The studio and props are meticulously cleaned and sanitized after every session.
WHEN TO SCHEDULE: Newborn sessions are best photographed between 6-12 days old, but we can also capture amazing images with babies outside of those parameters. Please see our Newborn FAQ’s for more details.
