Welcome to Michele Taylor Photography! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and expectations for using our website and booking our photography services. By accessing this website or booking a session, you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. DEFINITIONS
- "Company," "we," "our," or "us" refers to Michele Taylor Photography.
- "Client," "you," or "your" refers to anyone using our website or booking our photography services.
- "Services" refer to any photography sessions, digital or printed images, and related products provided by Michele Taylor Photography.

2. BOOKING & PAYMENT
2.1 Session Fees & Deposits
- To secure your photography session, a non-refundable retainer fee is required at the time of booking. A portion of this amount is applied toward your final order for Signature Sessions.
2.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made at least 2 days before the session date may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- Cancellations made less than 2 days prior will forfeit the retainer fee. A new retainer fee may be required to rebook.
- Rescheduling due to weather, illness, or other emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE DELIVERY
3.1 Session Expectations
- The photographer will make every effort to capture a variety of images, but specific poses, expressions, or groupings are not guaranteed.
- The photographer reserves the right to end a session if the client, children, or pets are uncooperative beyond reasonable expectations.
3.2 Image Selection & Editing
- Clients will come to studio for Image Selection Appointment (no exceptions.)
- Final images will be hand-edited and delivered within approximately 2 weeks after selection.
- Additional retouching requests may be subject to an additional fee.
3.3 Copyright & Usage
- Michele Taylor Photography retains full copyright to all images.
- Clients receive a print release for any ordered images for personal use only. Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Social media sharing is encouraged, but credit/tagging Michele Taylor Photography is required.

4. PRODUCTS & ORDERING
4.1 Prints & Albums
- All orders for prints, albums, and other products are final and non-refundable once placed.
- Michele Taylor Photography is not responsible for print quality from third-party vendors outside of our recommended professional labs.
4.2 Digital Files
- Michele Taylor Photography is not responsible for loss or damage of digital files after delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to back up their images.

5. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
- Michele Taylor Photography is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that may occur during a session.
- While every effort is made to deliver high-quality images, liability for any claim is limited to the refund of fees paid.

6. PRIVACY POLICY
- We value your privacy. Any personal information collected during booking or sessions will not be shared, sold, or distributed.
- Client images may be used for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

7. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW
- Any disputes related to our services will be handled in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
- If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes may be resolved through mediation before any legal action is pursued.

8. CHANGES TO TERMS
Michele Taylor Photography reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
By booking a session with Michele Taylor Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
