School Photo Day Is Coming October 16th!

Greetings, ChooChoo Chicago families! Photo day is just around the corner!

I'm Michele and I'm excited to have the opportunity to provide you and your school with amazing portraits of your littles! My goal is to provide an amazing and personal experience to the families who attend the schools that have chosen me to photograph their children.

WHAT IS BOUTIQUE SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?
The boutique photography experience offers our schools and parents a customized and personal experience, high quality imagery, and the customer service of a small local studio. It will be me coming to take the pictures, not some employee. I have run my own studio here in Chicago for more than 14 years. You can rest assured you are not just a number to me, I will treat you like I treat every client I work with in my own studio. I will personally answer your calls and emails and can easily access and reference any student galleries quickly.

I offer a modern approach to school photos, using top-of-the-line lighting and equipment. Also, we don't do cheesy smiles or hokey backgrounds. You won't get a picture of your child sitting on a bale of hay — you will have simple and classic portraits of your child on a clean solid background resulting in timeless images. Instead of forcing a smile, your child will be encouraged to be themselves.

We photograph siblings as well. And you will receive discount ordering options for multi-children families.

 

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
I always recommend keeping it simple and classic. We aim for one full length shot (so keep shoes in mind) but the rest will be above the knees. The best way to decide what to dress your child in is to think about what you want to do with them. Some kids come in their 'Sunday Best' and some come in their favorite pajamas. I get it, some things aren't worth the battle. We will capture some amazing closeups so even if the outfit isn't your first choice you will still have beautiful images!
